GREETING FROM CACAO's PRESIDENT
Thank you to all who donated to the Bahamas hurricane drive.
We had one 18 wheeler truck load that took the items to Atlanta. Items were collected from Jeff State, the Bessemer Fire Department and the 7 Planet Fitness Locations.
All items were taken to Park Moving and Storage where they were picked up and taken to Atlanta.
All money donated, was also sent to Atlanta to aide in relief efforts.
As you know there is a cost for all the events we do throughout the year, most of which is covered by your membership dues and ticket sales. I am pleased to let you know that in addition to the fun events that we host like our dinner dance, CACAO was also able to assist a Caribbean student financially last year, which as you know is one of our objectives. We hope that in time, with your help, we will be able to help many more.
Our dues are very reasonable and are as follows:
Membership is complimentary for currently enrolled Caribbean students.
Individual plan- $25
Couple plan (2 people over age 12) - $40
Family plan A (3 people over age 12) - $50
